Old Canada Road between Bingham and Jackman is a beautiful site seeing experience with several turnarounds and overlooks. Its twists and turns make it a fun ride for motorcycle enthusiast. While its beautiful scenery makes it fun for both summer adventures and leaf peepers of all ages.
The highest free fall in the state of Maine
33.9-mile point-to-point trail near Caratunk, Maine. Is considered a challenging route,taking an average of 15 h 37 min to complete. A popular trail for backpacking, birding, and camping. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime
Crossing over Pleasant Pond Mountain and Bald Mountain it then follows a lengthy section that by Appalachian Trail standards is considered flat! This is a considered a welcome stretch of trail for thru-hikers who have already passed through Mahoosuc Range and are preparing for the 100 Mile Wilderness.
Hunting for turkey, Bear, Deer, Moose, Coyote, and rabbits in this area is exceptional. Bingham is in the 4 corners of Maine WMD (Wildlife Management Districts) of Zones 8, 13, 14, and 17.

The fishing in the area is world class for rainbow trout on the Kennebec River and fly fishing on the newly designated Cold Stream conservatorship encompassing some 8000 acres set up by Trout Unlimited and the State of Maine. Ice fishing on the many lakes and ponds comes in a close second.
White water rafting on the Kennebec River, Penobscot River and Dead River (big water releases throughout the year)
For those less adventures tubing down the river has been know to be a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend your day.

Baker Mountain is a small community ski area located in Moscow Maine. It consists of five runs (3 beginner and 2 intermediate) and a T-Bar lift. The ski area is on the southern end of Pierce Hill (el. 1,310 ft or 400 m), just north of its namesake, Baker Mountain (el. 780 ft or 240 m) It was started in 1930 by Allen Quimby Jr.
